Has anyone else actually played this game? It's a pretty good port, being not just a pirate game but being made on a majorly weaker system then the SNES. Only goes up through World 4 though. I wonder if they made a part two to this...

I like cheese.

P.S.: Pirates rule, but why are they in Super Mario World?

For anyone not joking about that, a pirate game is a game made by an unlicensed and unnamed publisher, most of which are in Hong Kong, and sell hacks, ports, or just games not readily available in that region. Since most areas still only have the NES, pirate companies make newer games for that system, as well as originals, like Somari, Kart Fighter, Mario World, and Tekken 2. But sicne these aren't made by Nintendo or any of the real copyright holders, they are pirate games. As I said, the game is a good one for what it is.

Wasn't Super Mario Bros. 2 (on the original NES) a pirated version of Doki Doki Panic...

Mama mia! It''s-a me, Mario Maniac!
People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.

Well no, because it was made by the company who owned both. That's like calling Mario All-Stars a pirate game.

Then I guess the emulators are pirated games and systems too.

It is not illegal if you own real copies of what you are emulating and they are not currently turned own.

but if the were on or you dont own them than it is illegal

Pirated games? Hacks? I'm your man!

Go to www.demondreams.com. Go into Pirate Cobra's hacked roms. I'm assuming you guys already know a thing or two about emulators and roms. Anyhow, they have some hilarious Mario World hacks, like Fat Mario, Toilet Mario, KKK Mario, Dead Mario, and lots of other wacky things. It's just like the old game, but they distorted the sprites to look like stupid things. For example, Toilet Mario just changes Mario into a sprite of Mario sitting on the crapper. Or KKK Mario Puts a hood over Mario and turns the Goombas into little black guys. They are hilarious just to look at! Oh, while you're at demondreams.com, check out the fukemon section. Those will double you over with laughter!
