Author Topic: Who thinks a new Super Mario RPG should return?  (Read 3034 times)

Anyone here think they should make a new Super Mario RPG for the Gamecube?  I think it would be pretty cool, all the thrill of the RPG on the newest Nintendo System.

Who dares challenge Chargin Chuck?

It's impossible. Squaresoft is not affiliated with Nintendo anymore.

Waht are you talking about? Paper Mario is sub-titaled SMRPG 2! They can make a SMRPG on GC!

If they made a SMRPG for gamecube, they should make Luigi in the game. Preferably as a playable character.

They shouldn't call Paper Mario a sequel to SMRPG, because Paper Mario has nothing to do with SMRPG, and it has none of the characters introduced in SMRPG, and so on. The only thing they have in common is that they both happen to be RPGs. But that doesn't make it a sequel. A sequel continues from where the game before it leaves off, and it has lots of stuff in common. Paper Mario is way different than SMRPG, so it isn't a real sequel.

Whoops, didn't mean to take that long.

Paper Mario is sort of a "side-story" when compared with Super Mario RPG. It does not exaclty continue where the original game left off, but it does contain the 7 Stars from the original game, although they are now represented as spirits rather than actual stars...

And even though Square is not with Nintendo anymore, that doesn't mean Nintendo can't make another Mario RPG game... Shigeru Miyamoto has made the Zelda series, and that's one of the most successful RPG/Adventure games in the world!

So don't doubt the abilities of a great video-game company (Nintendo), because we've seen them accomplish things in the past that no other video-game company has ever dreamed of!

NINTENDO: Well, at least WE know how to make good games! Long live Nintendo!

People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.

You speak the truth, MarioManiac!  Nintendo can accomplish anything.  Anyway, who needs SquareSoft?  Plus, I do not consider Paper Mario to be a second SMRPG.

See the download section of my site. I have a "sequel" to Super Mario RPG. It's called Super Mario Adventures. I made it myself. But you need RPG Maker 95 to run it.

Well I don't have RPG Maker 95!

And Paper Mario in Japan isn't Super Mario RPG 2! It's called Mario Story!

That's not RPG Maker 95!

And there's no point in looking for it... the only pages that supposedly had it were actually links to porn... those RPG pervert jerks.
