Look at the Mario Kart Wii (http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/O8zz_eN8oGRK9ApOgJ86zbE6zRv3pdB2#overview) page at Nintendo.com it says that there will be a new Mario Kart Channel, see above link for more information.

This has actually been floating around in the news for quite a while. Thanks for reminding us though. The channel seems quite neat.
