Title: I can't start a topic

I want to start a friend code topic but the new topic option isn't there. Can only mods post there?

New members aren't allowed to make topics immediately.

I forget as to whether it's earned through the amount of time you're here or the number of posts you make, but you earn the ability to create topics.

But I've already been able to create topics. In the Forum Games section, in the Mario Chat section, and in the Game Help section. Is there a differant rule for each section?

I can't make a topic there either and I've been here for four years...

So I guess only mods can create topics. Not that I really care because I don't play the Wii online.

It can't be that because I've seen someone there who isn't a mod but started a topic there. It could be an ex-mod though. I've only been here for a few months so I wouldn't know.

Lizard Dude is an ex-mod and he made a topic there. So...yeah, you're right.

PL, you might want to get that checked out with the mods -- I started my first thread only a couple weeks after having joined. Heck, in internet years, you're practically Methuselah in comparison.

I chuckled when I saw the topic name for the first time and was a tad confused.

In all honesty I thought he was testing his ability to actually post a topic until I read the whole thing.
