Post by: Gooch on August 16, 2002, 11:48:33 AM
What would the monument be like in the Nintendo universe ? I mean, we have Mt. Rushmore, whats the nintendo monument to its greats ? I hope I worded this right.

It''s-a me, Mario !

Well, that's a great question! And it just so happens that I have a great answer!

"Mount Nintendo" as you call it will feature the faces of these primiary Nintendo stars: Mario, Link, and Pikachu. The large Nintendo racetrack logo will be positioned above the three faces. The following phrase "Congratulations, for over (number) years of videogame excellence!" will be carved into the spot just below the logo.

This completes the shrine dedicated to the ultimate videogame company: Nintendo!

I think it should have Mario, Link, Samus(with Space helmet on), Kirby, Then Pikachu. It would resemble the Mount Rushmore-ish thing from Pilotwings 64.

It should Be This:
--------------(NINTENDO)
----------(Shigeru Miyamoto)
(Mario)-(Link)-(Kirby)-(Sonic)-(Pikachu)
"Congratulations for (number) Years of making great games!"

I just noticed this, but since 1985 (SMB Release), It's been 17 years that nintendo's lived!
Or, from 1980 (DK on NES) that's 22 years! WOW!

An extremly rare and valuable Yoshi!

Sonic??? Sonic has only very recently become a character for Nintendo's systems.

Sonic wasn't even created by Nintendo. And neither was Pikachu. Oogh, I don't like those Pokemons. Yeah, I know that's not the plural for them.
That statue idea is pretty cool, though. Hey, you guys forgot Fox McCloud!

Oh, and GoldenYoshi, Nintendo's "lived" for over 100 years. Anyway, they had games before DK in Arcades. And the NES version was made in ... uhh, 1983? Sorry, but I just felt the need to state the facts.
