In Super Mario Land 2, what is the maximum score you can get on the game select pipes? I've always wondered that.

100 i think..or fifty..not sure. ive done it...could be 30

Thanks for the help. As for Kweeh! You're obiously not a big Chocoboer. Chocobos are a race of large ostrich/chicken birds that run around and do stuff in the Final Fantasy world. A full grown Chocobo lets out a mighty Whark, but since I'm still a young un I make a "Kweeh!" sound.

The highest number you can have on the file screen is 31   :)

The highest number you can get on the file select screen is 31, even though there are 32 levels in the game.

Actually, I once discovered that if you resest the game at just the right time after you finish a level, you can increment the "pipe score", but the level won't be counted as finished.  You can thus get numbers higher than 31, even though there are still only 32 stages.
