I never knew about the secret Super GameBoy song. Cool to learn. DK 94' is still one of my favorite games ever.

This is the kind of tangential Mario trivia I visit this forum for!

The perspective is such that the phone booth hangs on the side of the wall.

Furnishing a house with a phone booth is a classy touch; using an NES advantage as a rug, not so much.

It looked surprisingly good.

Also, Rabbids came first. Minions are the Rabbids of film!

There's a new trailer:

I wasn't that excited for the game until I saw this, and I remembered how good Nintendo is at puzzle-platformers.

Also, it's cool that Toadette is playable!

I finally found it. Too bad this (Don't worry, it's a screenshot with a pixellated title) part doesn't seem to work.

You need to install this, Bobby.

I guess I never realized how big a hint Deezer gave us when I lurked here a decade ago.

The experience was very nostalgic.

There is sill a wealth of locales from the Mario series that haven't been seen in Super Smash Brothers. I would like to see Bowser's Castle, Rogueport, or somewhere in Sarasaland. Most of all I'd like to see a stage base on SMB3. What stages would you like to see?

One summer vacation, I grinded in Twoson until I was able to afford the house in Onett.

There were a handful of good cranky tweets:

If I recall correctly, the guy who designed Marble Madness wanted the trackball to have force feedback, but it was too expensive to make. I hope this technology isn't cost prohibitive.

This also reminds me of the Atari racing games that had steering wheels with resistance. Those would also steer themselves during the demo.

Also, it would be more accurate to say Mario Party borrows from Itadaki Street.

I had no idea how old Itadaki Street is! This iteration though does look an awfully lot like Mario Party 8 with minigames and the spinning dartboard.

Come to think of it I haven't seen Hudson's Name on the Mario Party 9 trailer. Maybe Nintendo has dropped Hudson Soft, explaining why we got Wii Party while there was a lull in the until-then relentless release of Mario Party games. Mario Party 8 was pretty disappointing though.

//No I'm not as fanatical as I sound about Mario Party.

For (what looks like it's) borrowing so many things from Mario Party, you would think they would let Hudson be involved with Fortune Street.
