It could have been an unused idea. I doubt they went out of their way to lie to their fans. I doubt any company would do that.

This was like 3 weeks before the release. I doubt they took it out that fast.

You could go and try to find the Jap cards.

Why do I get the feeling there's probably a better adjective than that...

While I don't think I'd pay a whole lot of money for them, I'd be curious to get ahold of a few of those cards (E-Readers weren't that lame).

Come on, I don't get offended when you call me Cauc.

Significant bump, but behold, a Neogaf tribute containing the maps of those levels! I couldn't really find this elsewhere on the site but I apologize if it is, indeed, elsewhere.

http://www.vgmaps.com/Atlas/GBA/index.htm#SuperMarioAdvance4SuperMarioBros3 - Ripped by Peardian, a.k.a. Peardian the awesome. I've known about those maps for some time now.

Also, if someone wants sprites of the SMA4 enemies (including e-World and unused), http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/sma4/sheet/22919.  Yes, I ripped them.

Three things more of worthy of the bump.
1. You can hear the music from all the e-levels with the GSF set.
2. Don't bother buying the Japanese cards because the e-reader has regional lockout. I know it's stupid.
3. You can get a savestae to play the levels but you'll need an emulator like vba.

I have found a solution.

1.Download this .sav file
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=962

2.Rename the (US) .sav to the exact name of your rom and put .sav in the directory as your rom file
3 play in an emulator or do as I did and put it on your GBA and play the levels.

NOTE: 121/140 of all levels are present in the .sav files.
