"Sonic Adventure 2 Battle" - Sega of America
"Star Wars: Rogue Leader Squadron" - Lucas Arts Films
"Super Smash Brothers Melee" - Nintendo of America
"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3" - Activision
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 was given the award.

The categories take into account not only overall performance but particularly the marketing and promotional efforts given to titles by the studios.

Due to the growth in the video game market and the expanding number of platforms, the committee elected to recognize outstanding games for each of the major systems: GameCube, PlayStation and Xbox

Erm, this happened over a year ago... Although in my mind, it's kind of stupid that the "Best GameCube Game of 2002" was also released on the PS2 and X-Box. (?)

If you have any questions on any Mario game for the GameCube, any at all, please keep them AS FAR AWAY from me as possible. I don`t want to look like a total idiot in front of the whole forum. Thanks in advance.
