Has anyone ever played Civilization IV for PC, or any of the older Civilization games? I just got Civilization IV recently and it's quite fun.  It's a turn-based strategy game played on a square grid, sort of like Advance Wars, only it's about 100 times as complex as Advance Wars.  I've had some minor technical problems with the game but those will probably be fixed in the inevitable patch.

Anyone out there interested in a play-by-email game?

I bought Civilazation 3 for my PC a year ago. Five bucks isn't too bad...

How much did you get it for. If you check my christmas list, I really wanted that game, with, 20, other things...

I think I got for $50 at EB Games.

I just realized something very odd about the game.  The game comes with a very good quality manual (it's huge and it's actually bound, not stapled), but the CDs come in paper sleeves.  They're not even cardboard with a CivIV logo or anything like that - they're just flimsy white paper.  Why put in the production value to give me a quality manual, but skimp out on jewel cases?  Strange...
