...Now what? First of all, probably this (http://kotaku.com/5349732/the-disney-marvel-team+ups-wed-like-to-see). Secondly... well, what do you think this will affect down the line? This is in General Chat because it's not inherently videogame-related, though it's to be expected that discussion will probably end up focusing on that.

I demand that this become a video game, ASAP. What could possibly be better than busting into a robbery-in-progress, looking the thief dead in the eye, raising your arm menacingly, then slappin' him across the face while exclaiming, "I'm Rick James, *****!"?
-
Being the bit--I mean, thief, getting slapped in the face by such an awesome phenomenon?
Also, we discussed this in the chatroom last night (which didn't end well due to difference in opinion); someone pointed out that it'd be cool to see a Disney vs. Capcom.
-
That was me.

Not regurgitating old Dave Chappelle jokes, for one.
-
Weegee, had you been saving that joke since 2001, waiting for a vaguely comics-related topic to use it in?
-
Nah. I just found that image in the article and couldn't resist.
-
There isn't much you can resist, is there?
-
I don't mind, as long as there is a game produced where I can use Wolverine (or any of the other Marvel characters) to beat up Hanna Montana.
Because that'd be awesome.
-
Outside of videogames, I think all this will really amount to is more Disney product placement in Marvel movies and vice-versa. However, we can always hope for a Spider-Man Disneyland ride!
On that note, what's to become of those competing theme parks (Universal? I heard their contract with Marvel expired a while back, though...) with Marvel characters?
-
Aw crap. Marvel is now owned by Disney.

This would've been great if Joe Quesada wasn't just promoted to Chief of Animated Entertainment at Marvel.
Hopefully, Disney prevents him from turning some of those shows currently in production into trash like he's done to the whole of Marvel's print department.
Also, if it finally delivers that X-Men/Power Rangers crossover comic that was promised way back in the early 90s, I'm up for it.
-
1. I'm glad there are other Quesada haters
2. I would probably watch a Mickey Mouse Fantastic Four if they did it like that, because that looks pretty rad. :|
-
Sadly, any Disney-produced Marvel media would probably be the other way around (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDDHHrt6l4w).
-
Hahahaha. Also, I like how the person claims it's from an old VHS when it was just created for like Newgrounds earlier this year.
-
How did I know that was going to be the video?
Besides, Watchmen is from DC you NUB
-
Donald Duck with Hulk powers.
Let that thought sink in.
-

Maybe they'll use all those superhero alter-egos they had in the Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck comics universe and adapt them to a TV series.
*Imagines seeing PK and Supergoof team up in a manner reminiscent of the New Batman/Superman Adventures*
Yes, I know that show is DC.
-
1. I'm glad there are other Quesada haters
You mean there are Quesada lovers out there?
Yes, I know that show is DC.
Nothing wrong with that. It's pretty common opinion that most DC cartoons are superior to Marvel's endeavers.
Although Spectacular Spider-Man is pretty friggin awesome, and The Avengers 2011 looks amazing.
-
I hear they're going to reboot the Fantastic Four movies, which I have mixed feelings about.
-
Reboot? There's only been two and they, like, came out within the last five years.
But they were pretty bad for superhero movies... sure. If it worked for Batman, hopefully it can work for them.
-
The second one wasn't bad, honestly... and they already rebooted the Hulk and it only had one movie.
-
Now we can have Hannah Montana comics!!
-
Now we can have Hannah Montana comics!!
"Rao, can I see that Hannah Montana comic of yours?"
"Sure, Weegee."
"Why are all the pages stuck together?"
-
they already rebooted the Hulk and it only had one movie.
Good point... the original Hulk was profoundly bad.
-
Weegee seems to be trying to steal Mr. Wiggles' throne as Creepiest Person On the Fungi Forums.
-
Isn't that, like, the third joke he's made about sticky pages?
-
I can't recall ever having used that line before, but I could be mistaken...
By the way, Mr. Wiggles has no threat of losing his title to me: At least I'm not a Weeaboo.
-
You are a dirty stealth-editor though.
In case anybody's wondering: Post-edit, his joke about sticky pages originally read

Oh no he ain't. Do I have to post more unsettling Dawn pics to prove him wrong?
At least I'm not a Weeaboo.
I'm no weeaboo. I read comic books, watch far more western animation than eastern stuff, and I watch wrestling and soccer.
Inb4you browse 4chan therfore you are weeaboo.
-
I dropped in expecting an entirely different conversation. I love you guys.
-
Genetically, Mr. Wiggles has more in common with crabs than he does you or me!
-
I have no clue what you're talking about Glorb. I cannot be related to crabs, for I am a human not a sea creature. Also, I do not walk sideways.
That being said, lets get back to more Marvel/Disney crossover images.

And the saddest thing? I get that reference.
It's a testament to the power of the internet how fast these sort of pictures are able to be created, but I'd just like to say that I'm already sick of Mickey/Wolverine meldings.
-
Why is getting it sad? Anyone who's read that issue should get it. I'd be disappointed if they didn't.
-
It's just that I don't really read comic books, but I somehow remember seeing something that makes me get that.
-
Anyone who calls himself even a casual Spider-Man fan should get that.
-
I'm a fan of the movies and video games and I honestly don't get it at all.
-
I don't really care for Spider Man when he's doing anything besides shotting web.
-
I'm a fan of the movies and video games and I honestly don't get it at all.
That's because those do not have the original Mary Jane debut, which is what this image is referencing.
I recognize this from one of my older Spider-Man trade (a reprint I believe), and the scene was recreated in Spider-Man: The Animated Series as well as The Spectacular Spider-Man.

TOO LATE!
