Title: A Weird Code
Post by: TRM04 on June 11, 2000, 08:41:47 PM
My friend said that he had a book with a Super Mario World code in it that you did something at the begining of world 1-1(the one with the big bullet bills) with yoshi and when you went to the Bowser at the end, you would get some type of firball like weapon that would whup Bowser in one hit.  Does anyone know anything about this?  A gamegenie code?  I told all I know about this.

 Peace man!

You can get Pikablu. Just catch Marril in Gold and Silver, and nickname it Pikablu. Even though half these idiots don't know that Pika means Electric in Japan.

Kamehameha!

Hey, I know how to prevent Bowser from spitting fire in SMB3.

Let's do the Mario, all together now!

And "chu" means mouse. "Rai" means thunder. Or maybe not. Hmm...

Do the Mario!

Uh not that I know of. "Rai" is a prefix meaning "next." When Pikachu evolves, he becomes Raichu, so he's basically Nextchu. Heh. Those clever Japanese...

No... 'Rai' means thunder.
Otherwise, how do you explain 'Raikou', the legendary thunder dog from Gold/Silver?

I thought "raimei" meant thunder. I never thought of that though. If the game designers meant it both ways on purpose, with Raichu being the "next" Pikachu and those lightning attacks, if he uses any (I dunno, got bored with Pokémon before I could evolve Pikachu), then they are more clever than I had previously thought.
