For Super Mario Al Star (PAR)
Access Unused NES ice level!
7E072700
Go to World 5, using above, switch the code on while the world 5 (Land) map then enter the Level 1. Note: You must switch the code off after you start the level so you do not get stuck on the world 1 map after you die.
To access the level on the NES version, use this Game Genie code AOZULT.
I knew Super Mario All Stars was just a modified source of it's NES counterparts! Now I have proof!
What do you think about my discovery? Is it update to site worthy?

Could you post a video or picture or something? I don't have a Game Genie or emulator.
-
I'd test that, but I can't. At the moment.
-
Wow. Great discovery! This makes me want to play a Mario game and look for more hidden stuff.
-
I'll have a video soon with my SNES action replay MK3! I'm currently looking for all the unused NES levels. I have also made a perfect World 8 or any World Modifier that also affects Super Mario Bros 1 and the lost levels in case you are too lazy to enter the game's world modifier!
7FFB000?

You know this is an old discovery right?
Game Genie code oddities refers to it as Super Mario Bros. 3: the lost level.
We're talking... maybe pre-2001.
-
Heh. Yeah, pre-2001.. Try 1990.
-
I never heard that for SMAS. I will test this on my SNES PAR MK3 later... and it works!
-
Sorry for the bump, double post and long delay.
I also edited the code description to make it simple to understand as possible.
-
Yep, that's the stage, though it's also available in daytime, not-red color.
-
Yeah the NES version is different.
