Title: How To get 7 karts on MKDS?

i read on http://www.gamewinners.com/nds/MarioKartDS.htm that you can onlock 7 karts for all characters
i did what it said but i don't have 7 karts i only have 3

HELP ME!!!!!!!

Just keep on racing and winning the cups, It'll be unclocked eventually.

When you win 150cc Lightning Cup, you will get to have any character race in any kart.
For seven karts, though, you have to win 100cc Special Cup(?).

(?)=unsure. If that isn't the cup(I beat the game a while ago, so I'm a little rusty on the unlockables), keep trying the other Special/Lightning Cups.
