So, what would it be? Personally, I'd have him sign my in the box copy of SMB3, seeing as that's probably his biggest accomplishment in gaming, to me. Of course, there are are arguments to counter that claim, but that'll be left for another thread!
So, what would you have him sign and why? Let us know!

A mallet. Just because.
-
Out of the list I'd say a picture of himself, but I'd like him to sign my Wii... that'd be just awesome.

I think I'd have him sign my copy of Mario Kart 64. It was my first game, after all.
-
Either my OoT cartridge or Super Mario 64
-
I have a mint Luigi beanie toy that I keep in a clear plastic box. It's been that way for well over five years. I'd have him sign the tag on it...then return it to the box, never to be touched by human hands again for another goodness knows how many years.
-
Now, as much as I would like a signed SMG box, I would much rather have a signed Wii console. It has two enormous, white and flat sides! It's perfect!
-
I'd have him sign one of my better Mario fanarts, Just because. :D
-
A picture of Mario. By the way, how did you get that signed SMB#3 Megabyte????
-
E3 and strategery.
-
I'd say my Wii! Which is what I'm typing on!
-
I think I'd have him sign my gamecube. That'd be super awesome. I just changed my mind after I voted, though. (I was originally going to say I'd want him to sign my copy of PM:TTYD.)
-
I'd make him sign Mario Galaxy (once it comes out), seeing how it looks to be one of his finest works yet.
-
My DS. Simple as that.

sweeet
-
"Schweeet!"
-
He could sign my Wii.
The console, I mean.
I swear, I'll never get tired of that joke.
-
It isn't even a joke.
-
My Wii. Not only could I brag to my friends about having one, but I could also brag to my friends about having it signed by the creator of Mario!
-
I'd let him sign my Wii...actually I'm not sure what he should sign, but my Super Mario All-Stars game for SNES is great for the job. It's the game other than SM64 that introduced me to Mario's world.
-
Most likely my Wii. My Nintendo DS is always free for a good autograph, though.
/me recalls the LoZ Gold GBASP signed by Mr. Miyamoto
-
Since I already have the SMB3 cart done, I guess I'd try to complete my Zelda Twilight Princess signature collection next, which currently only has Aonuma.
-
If I could, I'd get Miyamoto to sign a picture of himself signing a picture of himself. That'd be awesome. Also, I'd like him to sign my PS2 just so I could really anger a whole ton of Mario fans.
-
That doesn't make any sense.
-
I'd get my Super Mario 64 cartridge signed, because it was my first and favorite Mario game. It would also be more convenient to sell than a whole console.

... you're part of the precipitate.
I like MB's SMB and TP ideas, but there's not much room to sign on them. The Wii as several people suggested would be nice since it has large white sides. Maybe he could draw Mario on it too. It be nice to put such a piece in one of those plastic enclosures like they have for the demo Wii. Of course I wouldn't sell it.

Surely a PS2 signed by Miyamoto is bound to upset someone. That's like having a Cowboys helmet signed by a Redskins player, or a Spider-Man picture signed by the Green Goblin.
-
Actually, somebody did something like that at E3 '06 and Miyamoto was like wth?
-
The side of my Wii... the console, that is!
EDIT: This message written prior to reading spamspamspam's. Great minds think alike, I guess.
-
At all levels of intellect it seems...
-
... you're part of the precipitate.
I didn't mean that I would impetuously sell a game cartridge the moment I got it signed. Super Mario 64 is my favorite game. I was just trying to be realistic in my choice of what to get autographed. Theoretically, if I ran short of money and I had to sell some of my possessions, I would rather sell just one game than a whole game system so I could continue playing the other games that let me appreciate the person who signed the one cartridge in the first place. I don't mean to disrespect Miyamoto, if that's what you gathered by my decision. I just wasn't really sure what a precipitate was. If I upset you, you could always call me a dastardly foe or something more straightforward.
-
I would tell him to sign my Wii.
-
"Yo Shiggy, sign my Wii and do it now."
-
I saw a youtube video of Martinet signing a Sonic doll.
I don't know what I'd have him sign though. Probably a blank check, or my snes.
-
I'd probably have him sign Markio.
-
I'd probably have RedParatroopa sign Miyamoto.
-
I would have him sign my Wii. That would be amazing, I believe.
