Title: Mario Bros. mini figures from Corgi International

Corgi International has revealed its line of Mario Bros. mini figures coming in 2008. The collection of 24 scaled figures, which range in size from 2cm - 15cm (about 0.8in - 5.9in), will be released in waves of six, with each wave retired before the next is released.

Below, we have photos of the first wave of figures.

Pretty cool. So, when each wave passes these will become potentially valuable, in the extreme? Hmmmmm...

You know what that means... I'll get two or three if I'm lucky, then mourn forever that I didn't get the rest.

But why retire them? People will be mad/disappointed when they find out that they can't get the entire set..

Is there a Toad one?

I'm sure there'll be a Toad figure in the next one, or a future one. I'll get the Mario Bros. and Yoshi (if they aren't too expensive) and maybe that Bob-Omb...
