OMG!oneoneone
Yes, there is a new trailer in front of Beowulf for Cloverfield out, and it's called...well...Cloverfield. Yeah, it's a let-down, but apparently it's, like, the military's code name for the monster or whatever. Still, I saw it on YouTube, and it looks real (not to mention a bunch of other sites reported on it). Now, there's still no footage of the monster, which is leading me to believe that the monster won't be shown until the climax of the movie (or not at all). However, it appears that the entire movie will be shot home-movie-style, and that the trailer is actually directly related to the movie (I thought it was just a short ditty that would be followed by other trailers that are home-movies of the monster attack, with the movie being an actual Hollywood-style movie).
Anyway, this has me super-psyched all over again, even more so than when I first found out about this. I literally can not wait until January.

Here (http://cloverfieldclues.blogspot.com)'s where I first found out about it, and here (http://www.firstshowing.net/2007/11/15/whatever-it-is-its-winning-jj-abrams-cloverfield-is-back/) is the First Showing story.

"Cloverfield" as a code name... can we expect a grass-based behemoth?

The monster's identity has been leaked!

Actually, from the brief glimpse of the monster you see in the trailer, I'd say it's a big, green, metal, hunchbacked shark-man with a fin coming out of its spine. Which is the awesomest thing evar.
