Title: Help SMG disc problem!!!

HELP! My Galaxy disc was working yesterday and now it gives me an error! I get to the disc channel, It works fine. I click start, black screen followed by a error message! The're no scratches and my other games work. I need help!!
Edit: It stopped. But is giving me slightly werid problems.

Make sure your putting it in the right way, with the silver side facing the power switch.

The first few times I loaded SMG I got a black screen that lasted for what seemed like several minutes.  Once I even unplugged my Wii.  Since then I haven't had a problem.  I assumed it was doing some kind of update since Toad will send message to your Wii, you can take pictures of your stars and send them to your Wii, etc.
