Title: Weird Goombas?
Post by: megamush on December 15, 2007, 08:52:49 PM: I was playing the level in Super Mario Galaxy where mario is on a ball and is like a golf course.Now, the Goombas that are on the field. There are 2 types one that looks like an actual Goomba, and the one that has a ligter shade of brown and is slightly smaller. I was wondering if those were supposed to be there or if they were from the Beta version of the game that Nintendo workers forgot to take out, etc...

Post by: Captain Jim on December 15, 2007, 08:56:23 PM: I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be there. They're in too many places to be a mistake. They also kill differently than normal goombas.

They kind of act as an easier variety; they're a little slower (I think?) and will give you a coin no matter how you kill 'em.

On an entirely separate note, I love shooting enemies with Star Bits, then kicking them into oblivion. Yes, videogames make me so violent...
