Title: Three Twilight Princess Questions
Post by: Corleone on December 29, 2007, 08:56:49 AM
1. Is there any good that comes out of donating to the guy in Castle Town?
2. Is it possible for the Hylian Shield to break?
3. In your opinion, is it worth it to collect all 60 Poe Souls?

1. Give him enough and you'll get a Piece of Heart.
2. No, not that I know of...
3. I sure didn't do it, but you'll get some Fairy Tears from Jovani and feel good inside.

I don't need Fairy Tears; I beat the Cave of Ordeals. Now, any time I want Fairy Tears, I can go to any spring.

3. Why not collect everything in the game? Added game play. I beat the game a while ago, but I'm still doing things, like collecting Poes. I still haven't bothered with the Cave of Ordeals.

I never really thought of collect-a-thons as "adding game play."

I think it just fills your wallet to the brim. Repeat as often as you like.

Why not though? For me, at least, I always enjoyed exploring the different areas in a game. Plus, even if you don't have to, collecting things is fun. Call me strange, but I think it adds to the replay value and give more life to the game play. After I beat OoT, for instance, I remember looking around Hyrule for all the pieces of heart. Yeah, I'm weird like that.

I would try to 100% games back when I only owned about 15. :\

I try to 100% games if they're good enough.

I try to 100% the achievements for games, which often means 100%-ing the game itself.
