Though the poll does seem kind of useless now that I think about it, what do you usually wear to bed and at night before you head to bed? What did you usually wear to bed as you aged through the years?
Personally, I only wear boxers, but on colder nights I'll have a pair of pajama pants on instead.
As a young child, my sleeping attire varied through the seasons. In late autumn, winter, and early spring, I'd wear pajamas, a long sleeved shirt and pants (they usually matched). As the weather got warmer, it'd be more mixed, I'd have short sleeved shirts instead of long, and wear a pair of briefs, and on really hot nights, no shirt at all.
As I got older, I switched from briefs to boxers, but I usually wore whatever I wore during the day to bed (after showering). When I realized that it wasn't very clean to do that, I'd wear a t-shirt and boxers to bed year round.
When I started to grow my hair out, I always woke up with sweat around the collar of my t-shirt, so I stopped wearing one to bed.
How about you?

I usually just hit the sack in the clothes I wore all day, or sometimes I'll put on a pair of shorts.
-
My Birthday Suit.
Honestly I can't sleep in anything else, no matter what season.

I did think of adding a "nothing" option, but, eh, there are some people here who'd probably be embarassed to choose it, so...

MSM isn't!

No, really?

I have a small assortment of pajama bottoms, my favorite being a black cotton-flannel set with ridged gray trim on the sides.
-
In the summertime or at a friend's place, the clothes I wore during the day.
In the wintertime at home, the shirt I wore that day and pajama pants.
-
Pajama pants, and either t-shirt/singlet/nothing.
-
pajama pants + shirt I wore that day. I lounge around the house in pajama pants
-
Usually just a shirt and underpants, though when it gets really cold, I'll put on some pajama pants.
-
I usually just wear a t-shirt or a tank top with pajama bottoms.
-
Hmm, I wonder how many people sleep in their socks? I've always hated sleeping in socks.
-
I normally wear just boxers to bed, but if it's cold I might also were pajama bottoms and/or socks. I couldn't sleep if I wore socks in bed until recently. Now with my poor lower leg circulation the socks help me sleep. I never could sleep in my birthday suit, and up until about a decade ago I wore tighty-whities. I also can't go around the house with out a shirt like I did as a kid and young adult because the air on my skin feels slightly annoying. I can't explain that; it just is.

I like, freak out if I'm not wearing socks.
-
I generally try to wear pajama pants along with whatever shirt I was wearing, or if I was still wearing my school uniform, a shirt of my own choice.
There are some cases that I don't wear pants though. It depends on how hot or cold I am that day. As for socks, I rarely care, but there have been instances that I absolutely had to take them off.
-
I like to wear socks when sleeping when it's cold. Otherwise, no. Most of the time I either wear a T shirt or sweatshirt that I keep around for pajamas, and loungey pants or sweatpants or boxers or something.

same here whenever I don't wear socks my whole body feels suddendly cold.
Staying with the original subject, I sleep in a T-Shirt and boxers
-
usually a comfy shirt and comfy pants. If I forget to take a shower, I just sleep in the same stuff.
-
Flannel Shirt and Running Pants
OR
White Undershirt and Running Shorts
-
Boxers, plain and simple. I wear PJs (the pants are Mario ones: "HAMMER TIME") after I get hope from school and when I wake up, but I just find it hard to sleep under covers wearing clothes.
-
I usually sleep in the same clothes I wore all day. Even in the summer, where I sleep without covers.
I also sleep in socks, and I haven't worn pajamas in a long time.
-
I never sleep in socks. It's like my feet freak out if I go to sleep with my feet enclosed in anything.
-
Pajamas during cold weather (like right now). Night gowns during warm weather. Also, I usually sleep without socks, but lately it's been so cold that my tootsies would freeze without them.
-
I sleep in loose t-shirts and boxers. I also have grown very found of wearing my socks to bed. It's convenient not having to put on socks in the morning.
-
Speaking of all these socks, I never wear socks to bed.
-
Pajama pants, NO shirt, NO socks (NO service).
(Roughly once per week I'll just flop down in full day's clothes and sleep for the night, sometimes with light still on, after a hardcore night of PC gaming (PC is right next to the bed (if I'm console-ing, the walking around will be enough to prompt me to actually prepare for bed)).)
-
I just sleep in my normal clothes. No point in wearing different clothes just for sleeping.
I wear socks to bed if I was already wearing them, otherwise no.
