Title: A plumber question...
Post by: Ambient on July 12, 2001, 09:28:46 PM
My toilet is broken and it's driving me nuts.  It runs all the time and keeps me up at night because it's so loud.  I think there's a problem with the float, because it stays half below the water when it's supposed to (duh!) float.

The toilet in my apartment did that. One of my roommate's parents came to fix it. I don't know what they did, but it doesn't run like that any more. The only problem: now it doesn't flush unless you hold down the handle....

Well, come to think of it, that would probably solve the problem.  Yes, yes it would.
