This game is simple.  Post things intended to destroy and/or pervert people's childhood memories and nostalgia.  Things like this:

There's different levels of threats at the beach.

-yellow= some harmful waste or material has been spotted scattered in the water
-orange= A storm has been reported and swimming could be announced unsafe.
-red= Potentially harmful fish have been spotted in the water and can servilely harm citizens.
-BLACK= Jaws has been spotted.

This seems like as good a place as any to bring up Otomedius, the Gradius spinoff series involving large-breasted, scantily-clad high school girls piloting "Riding Vipers" and defending Earth from the Bacterion threat. And the new one was announced for US release.

Well they released Cho Aniki on Virtual Console in America for some unexplained reason, so I'm not surprised anymore.

*looks up Otomedius, eyes bug out* That's not anti-nostalgia. That's ShadowBrian's dream game.

Cho Aniki coming to download services here (the PSP game, Cho Aniki Zero, also came out here, and it's PSN-exclusive) is far less surprising, because retailers aren't dedicating any amount of shelf space to those; I'm surprised more "anime" games don't come out in the US as download-only titles considering what happened with Atelier Rorona. But Otomedius X is going to be a retail release just like DeathSmiles (another shmup involving girls, though those ones wear a lot more clothes) was.
