I think the punchline is that an 85 year old woman wrote it. It's.. kind of awesome.. I think that's the best way to describe it.

It's written by an 86 year old man. And that's acknowledged in the first sentence, so not much of a punchline.

This is definitely a "cool story bro", in the full cynical meaning of that phrase.
