Title: I want to learn C/C++

I am interested in learning to program in C/C++ so I can make computer games.But all the books I have on C start out too advanced and don't explain stuff clearly. If anyone knows of any good books or web sites about C and C++, it would help.

I'm not trying to be insulting or anything, but try C++ for Dummies.  It helped me to understand a lot of things.  Of course, the best way to learn is in a classroom.  See if a community college in your area offers beginning C++.
