You know how before we were all talking about Yoshi and the Yoshis and Yoshi's Island and everything? Well, I've finally figured it out! THERE IS NO YOSHI'S ISLAND! It's YOSTER ISLAND!! Squaresoft doesn't own half of THAT, it's been Nintendo's since 1991! HAHAHA HA HA HEH!
-
You have gone completly off your rocker.
-
Drippy, you're just too afraid of the truth!
-
Frostbite's has a point. The real name is Yoster's Island
I''m the leader of the Koopa Bros. We''re hip and cool and uh... we like bacon

That's discusting!! You dare deny that there's a Yoshi's Island? Sorry, but if so, there must be something seriously wrong with you.
-
im too tired to figer out what frostbite means.
Man 1: I must say we have a very exiting proposal.

You should feel insulted red_yoshi, he's saying that yoshi's island is really called yoster island!!!!
-
It is! IT IS!!! HahaHEH!
-
Yoshi's Island IS NOT called "Yoster Island!"
They're two different islands!!
YOSHI!!!
-
Oh no they're not. There is no Yoshi's Island!
-
Purple_yoshi i think you take this way to serisly... who really cares if its called Yosters island.... i for one dont
-
I'm not taking this too seriously!!!!! Sorry, but the name of the island is Yoshi's Island!!!
YOSHI!!!
-
The island has been called Yoshi's Island in most of the games it has been in so i'll have to agree with Purple Yoshi.

Kelly: No, Hives is the name of the butler!

Frostbite IS a madman, but I'm afraid hje's right. It is Yoster's Island. I love yoshi jsut as much as anyone, but Yoshi;s Island is another part of Dinosaur land. As in SMW, Iggy had yoshi's Island. The other's must have been part of yoster's Island. Or I might be wrong about that, but it makes sence
I''m the leader of the Koopa Bros. We''re hip and cool and uh... we like bacon
-
Then why do the games say Yoshi's Island in them?
I''m-a Luigi, number one!
-
No,no,no! There is no Yoshi's Island! Iggy had Yoster Island!

It is Yoster's isle..And don't get frostbite to start a flame war Purple Yoshi.
Got mushroom? The poison in mushrooms will make your f**k''n self die.Got mushroom?
-
Frostbite's got a point (believe it or not). But it's Yo'ster Isle, not Yoster Island.
Eeeeettts a me! Baby Mario! Honk Honk Honk!
-
So what, I forgot an apostrophe. And 'Isle' is short for 'Island'.
-
Who knows! Yoshi's Island is a small island in Dinosaur Land, and the setting for SMW2, but Yo'ster's Isle is in the central Mushroom Kingdom. Perhaps Yo'ster's is a vacation spot, because it's a race track, and the island is their home.
-
Frostbite there is a Yoshis island! nintendo changed Yoster Island to yoshis Island in the game oh oh what is it oh yeah Yoshis Island not Yoshter Island or Whatever!
Mario and Yoshi rule!
-
I have a very clear explenation of all of this:
There IS a Yoshi's Island. Just look at the Super Mario World map... It's the first island you start off on before you get to Donut Plains...
And Yoster's Island was from Super Mario RPG (and Paper Mario?). Yoster's Island is basically a different island with Yoshi's living on it... I like to think of it as a vacation resort.
So that proves to you that there is a Yoshi's Island and Yosters Island...
Yoshi's Island is the "official" living place of the Yoshi tribes. Yoshter's Island is the "vacation" spot for the Yoshis!
Does that clear up everything?

MICROSFT: Nintendo is so old, you should retire! You will fall to the wrath of Microsoft!
NINTENDO: Well, at least WE know how to make good games! Long live Nintendo!
SONY: I like cheese...
-
Yo'ster Island in Super Mario RPG is the same island as "the first island you start off on before you get to Donut Plains". That's what I've been trying to say.
-
Well frostbite, if you insist that they're both one island then it's called YOSHI'S island.
P.S. I visited your web site frostbite and I was enraged by what I saw. Morton Jr. IS Bowser's son.

I'm a bit confused...Why can't Yoshi's Island and Yo'ster Isle be two different locations?
It's perfectly okay for the yoshis to be called yoshis. That *the* Yoshi's name is also what his species is called isn't reason to say that yoshis are called something different. Suppose Yoshi is just a common yoshi name. Heck, Bowser is named after his species (or maybe the other way around..hmm..) Bowser KOOPA.
Well, anyway, explain your position, frostbite. I'm a little lost.

No, Bowser isn't named after his species. Bowser is a Boom-boom.

Fill in the missing word in this Mario title:
Super Mario World 2: _____'s Island
It's Yoshi!

Heh. Okay...Frostbite, lets not even start on Bowser. Focus on Yoshi and Yoshi's island for now. WHY can't Yoshi's Island and Yoster Isle be two different places? It seems to me that Yoshi's Island is a large, unpopulated (well, it's populated by yoshies and other wildlife) land mass in the far-off Dinosaur Land. Yoster Isle is a smaller tropical island that is closer to the Mushroom Kingdom.
About the name issue, perhaps "Yoshi's Island" it not what it's called at all, perhaps we are misspelling it. It could be "Yoshies Island", meaning "Island of Yoshies." Okay, that's a little farfetched, but what I'm trying to say is that the Mushroom World isn't like the real world in that it is largely unexplored. Remote, uninhabited lands don't have offical names. They call those bunch of islands "Dinosaur Land" because there are a bunch of dinosaurs there. And perhaps they call Yoshies Island, "Yoshi's Island" because *the* famous hero Yoshi, who helped Mario save their Princess, is from there.
