Hiya Mario fans! I'm a new guy, Shy Guy! But anyways, I just wanna know what people think of one of the most popular Mario enemies, Shy Guys. It's kinda strange how they suddenly became so popular in Mario games lately, since they were introduced in Doki Doki Panic. So, anyhow, what do ya think of Shy Guys?

They're stupid quacking midget/penguins in robes. They don't have any attacks; the only way you can die is by walking into them.

Shy Guys are cool! I loved them in Paper Mario (Shy Guy's Toy Box)!

If Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA version) was just a hack/copy of the Japanese game Doki Doki Panic, then why would Nintendo even consider it a true Mario game?

It is not a true Mario game because it wasn't even created by Shigeru Miyamoto...It was simply a hack of a stupid Japanese game that nobody's even heard of!

Also, if what Im saying is true, then why would Nintendo use many of the enemies found in that game (Shy Guys, Bob-ombs, Pidgits, Pokeys) and put them in other Mario games?

Ah, I finally feel welcome.
Yeah, good point Mario Maniac. Bob-ombs have been popular in just about every Mario game after SMB2. Maybe Shigeru Miyamoto liked those particular enemies and attained the rights to them?
Also, how many different Shy Guy varieties are there?!? Around 50? Regular Shy Guys (various colors), Shy Guys on stilts, General Guy, Anti Guy, Sling Guy, Flaming Shy Guy, etc. Hmmm, maybe one day when I'm REALLY bored I'll take the time to make an estimate.
