Title: Highest SMB Score Ever

What's the highest Super Mario Bros. score you've ever gotten, whether or not you beat the game or used the warp zones.

And no, I do not want scores from SMB 2 or 3. Just the original. This topic is to show how well we do in the game for comparison against others!

458,150 and I was on:

7-3

9,999,990 on Level 8*4. You can achieve this score with almost no skill by starting on 3-2 or 5-1 and kicking the Koopa shell. Follow it right and let the shell hit you. Each time you do this you will receive around 20,000 points and a 1UP. Repeat around 500 times to get the maximum score.

Thats close to what I did for my best one about 3 years ago. Maxed out the score meter.

Oh, by the way, SMB2 does not have score unless you're playing SMA.

Yeah, I know that trick, but your score without using any tricks like that? That's just cheap play so u can get lots of lives.

My best score, without any suicidal efforts to gain more points, is about 1,400,000 points, on World 8-4.

With? I can also Max out the score meter.
