Now, we've seen alot of little group things at these forums. Like the Mario Bar, The Mario Trivia Game and others. Now, I know this copies SMBHQ. But I think it's cool. So how about if we do Mario Mysteries here in the forums. ANy ideas for the first mystery ?
It''s-a me, Mario !

Who stole Peach's crown?
-
Yeah, a mystery story instead of a strange thing in the games.

Are we looking for an easy to solve Scooby Doo type mystery or an extended, confusing, full of twists, Sherlock Holmes mystery.
-
I think Gooch's original idea was to have mysteries like the ones at SMBHQ. But, I find those rather tedious and shallow...
I think a story that progresses as we go along would be cool.

Indeed
It''s-a me, Mario !

Any suggestiions ?
It''s-a me, Mario !
-
For which type of mystery?
-
A more complex one. I'll leave it up to you guys.
It''s-a me, Mario !

No Scooby Doo like mysteries? Well there goes my Idea for the "Koopa Troopa Ghost Caper" where the culprit(is that spelled right?) is a Boo Buddy.
-
Well, sure you could do that. Although, you did already reveal the ending.
It''s-a me, Mario !
-
Oops, my bad.
-
Hmm... perhaps a Clue-like thing would be cool.
-
How about who kidnapped peach, Again?
-
Was it Bowser?
Birdo: darn...
The End.
-
Next mystery:
How many licks does it take to get to the center of the Tootsie Roll in the center of Earth?

Hmm... the idea could have merit... if done right.
Imagine... that several people "sign up", so to speak, and the one running it secretly informs one of them that they'll be the one to "commit the crime"... so everybody will be roleplaying, with the one running it orchestrating the non-player characters and the "villian" trying to get an opportunity... And then afterwards everybody tries to find out whodunnit, enquiring and whatnot....
Or maybe not. I dunno... it sounded good in my head.

Fifth that's a super-fantastic idea!
I'm signing up right now!
....
How do I sign up?
Time slowed and Reality bent.
But on and on the Eggman went.
-
i guess we just start here
-
I sign up!
"I would've done it too, if it wasn't for those meddling kids". -Villian at end of mystery in Scooby-Doo.
-
Sure, I'll sign up! You might want to create a seperate topic for it though...

you know, this was the very bottom topic in the 365 days ago topic list, the author isnt even here anymore.
-
Well, so it is.
It'd still be an interesting idea.

First of all, I'll "sign up", however you do that. Second, I say we appoint Fifth the "author", as he is the one who came up with the idea. Whaddya say?

I know something! Lets answer this question:
How many licks does it take to get to the center of the Tootsie Roll in the center of Earth?
-----------------------------
Mario likes to dance in his backwards pants! Yay!
-
Get close enough to the center of the Earth and you'd be burnt to a crisp and/or crushed by the gravity......
Anyway, there's a game at another board called "Mario Mysteries With Answers", which is what I presume the guy wanted to do in the first place. Somebody posts a mystery in the Mario universe, another person answers it and provides another question, and so on. To start............
Why is Mario so fat?

Because Shigeru Miyamoto designed him that way. Next Question: Why do you ask such obvious questions?
(Just Kidding) Real Answer: Because he-a eats-a lot-a mush-a-rooms so-a he-a can-a become-a Super-a Mario!
