I couldn't help but wonder a simple question as I was surfing the Mariopedia. Bowser has seven kids... who is their mother?

Maybe it was Peach...Marioligists arent sure just yet.Maybe email shigeru miyamoto about it?
Do you know when we die,we''ll be boos too?

I'm almost sure they aren't all of the same mother. As sure as I can be for a story that isn't even real, anyways.
Everyone has their own opinions, no matter how WRONG they are.

I most certainly isn't Peach.
I don't think they would be biologically compatible, anyway.
I think Steve may be right...

I always thought they were created magically. Like maybe Bowser decided that he needed an heir (or seven) and had Kamek "clone" him or something.
-
My my my. Biology and now genetics... what a mystery it is. Maybe I'll post a story about it... and I have to agree with Steve. I don't think mammals and lizards can interbreed, it just wouldn't work.

Mario games are rated "E for Everyone." Interbreeding, genetics, and the details that are involved with conception are not part of them. You are reading things into Mario games that aren't actually there when you consider such things.

Yes, but our overcivilized minds demand an answer.

I think the best explanation I've heard came from Roy Koopa (a board member who used to post a while back.)
It was basically that, a while after Yoshi's Island had occurred, the storcks thought that they would try to get back at Bowser for hijacking the stork and intercepting a delivery. So they planned to send him the most nasty, bratty, troublesome kids that they could manage - seven of them! - to teach him a lesson.
So, these seven Koopa Kids soon arrived at Bowser's doorstep, and the storks' plan backfired horribly. He loved their loathesome traits, and willingly raised them.

Q: What's this about lizards not being compatible with humans, eh?
A: Libel

I like Fifth's explanation. Stupid storks. Hahaha.
