Title: New president and mascot equals bad news...
Post by: Kamouri on August 10, 2003, 05:28:56 PM
Is it really true that Nintendo is getting a new president and mascot?

I think that's horrible! I've heard that this president-wannabe wants to replace Mario and other Nintendo characters with more "adult" kind of characters to compete with Sony (PS2) and Microsoft (XBOX). That's wrong. REALLY wrong.

Nintendo has been popular since the 80's and this stupid new president wants to screw it all up?!

Shigeru Miyamoto should stay being the president of Nintendo! He knows how to grab our imaginations!

(Maybe some day I'll become the next president of Nintendo and continue things the way Miyamoto wanted! IF I ever do become president. Not likely....)

If the new president changes Ninty's mascot, I'll put a stamp on him and mail him to Antartica.

Miyamoto's not actually the president of Nintendo.  He's just a gaming visionary.

The new president never said that. It was a failure to communicate. Mario is still, and always will be, nintendo's mascot.
I like the way nintendo is going with the new president.

The world would be a much cleaner place if people would eat their own trash.

Miyamoto? President? HAHAHA

He does not want to be president, nor has he ever been. Hiroshi Yamauchi was the president, and now Satoru Iwata already is the new president.

And as has been said, they're not getting a new mascot, but another mascot, apparently.

Eccentricity is my goal.
