Title: goomba king in negative level
Post by: marceriksen on September 06, 2003, 10:44:52 PM
i appologize if this question has been asked several times, but i'm curious about it none-the-less.

I've been told that in the negative level of Super Mario Bros. for the NES there is a slim (very slim) chance that you get to fight the mammoth 'Goomba King'.

any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid it's simply not true. This rumor started after an April Fool's joke at SMBHQ stated that world -1 was beatable (it's not), taking you to "world -2" where Goomba King is waiting (he's not).

I've heard that rumor before too. It is the stupidest, most pathetic, illogical, oronic piece of trash I've ever heard. I really hate Stupid Rumors. This one is especially stupid, as how can it be possible to fight a character who hasn't and won't be invented for almost 20 years? Psh. I can't stand when April Fool's Jokes get out of hand. Like this one time, this idiot in my class tells me, "Oh, you eva heard dat you coul' get Sonic in Super Smash Bros. Melee?" I say it's only a rumor, it is not true. He says "No it ain't! THey have pictures." i told him the story of the April Fool's joke and how NIntendo dismissed it as false nfo many times over. He started gettin defenseive of it and yelling at me and telling me Nintendo is lying and doesn't know what they're tlaking about...Psh. I can't stand when people get too defensive of Unofficial Game Information and then get mad when someone tries to tell them it's untrue. THis kid was also a thug and an X-Box fan so I don't know why he was even bothering to tel me about it. Sigh...Typical. Oh well.

I'm glad you're not that guy who asked if SMRPG was released for the N64. J.J. got fired up on that question! He got mad at your question, too, though. Oh well, you can't face somebody who hasn't even been thought up of yet. You got this rumor, then Nintendomillenium tring to give us crud about Luigi being in SM64.

Funny Things to do With Your Microwave

Get a toothpick and stick into a piece of cork. Light the tip on fire, place in the microwave, and rev it up. Vertical fireballs should ride from the toothpick up to the top of the microwave. LD, you have an E-Z Bake Oven, but it won''t work with that I don''t think
