So am I a newbie, and at what point do you stop being a newbie?

1. When did you join?
2. You are not considered a newbie when other people just don't consider you a newbie. Or, you could check the "Active Members" thread for alist of active people and newbies.

<whisper> BTW, the Active Member list needs to be updated. I am still a newbie on that list and I have been here for a little over 2 months. </whisper>

I'm still a newbie on that list and I've been here for 5 months and this is my 1004th post.

You can't STILL be a newbie. I am not a newbie and I have been here for a little over 2 months. No, you're not a newbie. That's why I want the Active Members list to be updated (Sapph, Lizard Dude, Chupperson!!!) so we know who's who.

I like to think that your'e a newbie until you've been here three months, or you accept how everyone is and stop trying to change them.

What if you are here for five months, then left for a year or two and come back, are you a newbie for the next three months.

Markio, I try not to change anybody. I don't know why you treat my like this all of the time. Will you give me some reasons and try and see what we can do about this. This has gone on for a while now and I would like to get to the bottom of this.

I popped in here over the summer, and nobody ever called me a newbie. They just treated me like I've been here forever. *Sniff* I never got to feel the sensation of being a newbie...I need a hug! Chupperson?

"Markio, I don't try to change anybody."

I was talking to everybody.  The thing about three months I don't really believe in anymore either.

*Nindendolke64 is hugged*

I don''t have a signature.  So what?  I doesn''t matter!  HAHA!  I''m Freee!

Here's the exact definition:

new·bie Pronunciation Key  (nb, ny-)
n. Slang
One that is new to something, especially a novice at using computer technology or the Internet.
.

Just wondering: Is it possible to be an "oldbie"?
