Furthermore, the Greeks don't even pronounce pi like that. It's said as "pee".
The first actual evidence of pi is found in the Rhind papyrus, which is an Egyptian list of math problems and solutions (ca. 2000 BC). The first person you could associate with calculating pi is my personal favorite mathematician of all time, the one, the only, the Archimedes (<3) in 250ish BC.
And 22 is rational. ^_^

Pythagoras did not discover pi, he created Pythagoras' Theorem, in which the sum of the square of each side of a right-angled triangle is equal to the hypotenuse squared!

Yes, you're right Lizard Dude, it was Archimedes who discovered pi, but I also remember that Archimedes discovered displacement, where if you put a body in some collection of liquid, like a vat of water, the body would replace exactly the same volume of liquid that was there...
(Of course, Archimedes did something very embarrassing after he discovered that. He ran out into street completely naked and yelling 'Eureka' many times!)
