Title: Mario Pinball Land
Post by: Luigison on October 10, 2004, 10:54:40 AM
Who has Mario Pinball Land?

I think it is an okay game, but I am not much of a fan of pinball games to begin with.  If it did not have Mario and company in it I would have never got it.  It was $35 at GameStop so I desided not to get it, but while looking for extra DK drums at Circuit City I saw it for $25 at got it.

It's an easy game to play while doing something else like watching TV.

I had somewhere between 6 and 9 stars the other day, but when I turned it on last night I did not have a save file on it.  Everything was back to zero.  Has anyone else had this happen?

I think I figured out how I deleted my data.  It appears that if you continue a game, and then turn of the GBA without saving the game you will have to start all over.  Is this correct?

That's how some games like Advance Wars and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance do it if you save in the middle of a battle, to prevent you from just reloading over and over if things don't go your way. The normal saves that stay forever no matter what are the ones you do between levels/battles.

So, yeah, if you're saving maybe in the middle of a pinball round (?) it might do that. I think Pokemon Pinball did it that way.

I think the game pretty much blew chunks. Pokemon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire was far better.

Did I do that?

Yea, the games are both different.  Pokemon Pinball is more like a real pinball machine, but Mario is more zany and unique.

I hate that game. I rented it for 7 days and returned it within 3. Also to Luigison, the game erased my data when I pressed A, B, Start, & Select togeter. That sucks.

You cannot distory the Zeus, only the actors who play him!

I was disappointed in Mario Pinball Land.  Please tell me how it is awesome to make me want to play it again.

Mario Pinball Land is kind of hard, but it was still a fun game in the end.
