Title: please help me figure out which game!!

Hello, I'm going crazy trying to remember which Mario game had the letters from the Princess where she'd give him a gift at the bottom.

Also, do you know where I could get a sound clip from the music played at that part? I'm convinced that they use that music during the weather on the news channel I watch! (It's NY1 in case you'e wondering. lol. )

Super Mario Bros. 3.  I don't think there was any music during that part.

Unless i'm mistaken, the music was not in Super Mario Bros 3, but it was in Super Mario All*Stars: Super Mario Bros 3.

I believe Mariofan is correct.

The fast pace riding on a horse bets a slow boat anyday.
