Title: Nintendo giving away free disembodied hands!
Post by: MEGAߥTE on March 29, 2005, 07:58:56 PM
touching is good.

Not only will they give you the hand, but if you do something creative enough with it and take a picture/video, you could win a Nintendo DS and other stuff.

Neat-o! I'm applying for one.

I'm getting more and more worried by the minute.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.  But I think we can all agree that Mario rules and that''s a fact!

I've already got a disembodied hand to freak out my sister (not the Nintendo one)!

It''''s funny until someone gets hurt. Then it gets hilarious!

Come to think of it, I have one too.

Seriously, what is this?! Why is Nintendo giving away random disembodied hands to people? Maybe if they went to people that actually *didn't* have hands rather than Nintendo players it'd make sense, but wtd?!

Heh, you could probably saw one off from the plastic clothes display models at the mall easier...

They're all left hands.

Yeah, I noticed that! I was petting Merry with it today.

My hand has absolutely no markings or logos. It's pasty white and fun. The fingers don't bend.

Perhaps they're all the same?

Likely. Note I did say "they're all left hands" up there.

As I said before, nice job, Laughin' Dude! You made me laugh! ;D

I don't have anything for Lizard's hand topic yet, but I did manage to shoot a few photos of my pasty-white lefty. As is virtually always the case when I post images, you can hover your cursor over them to see the captions. I'll post more dead left hand pictures later if I take any more.

It's not very original, but here's my first and so far only disembodied hand photo.

Hey, wait a minute . . . if you can take a picture of that hand, then couldn't you take a new picture of you? XP

I hope none of your hands come alive (a la the 1st episode of the new series of Doctor Who).

Hey, I'm trying to ...

Get out-a da way.

Stop that.

This isn't funny anymore.

Just let me ...

Oh well.  Either a pasty white Alien hand is trying to attach itself to Luigison face or he's camera shy.

I noticed that Suffix's pic, Maestro, is featured in the Gallery at touchingisgood.com. Does anyone else have an image or movie there?

I submitted one of the pictures that I posted above, but it has not been added to the Gallery (yet?).

How do I find Super Mario Bros Games on the internet that i can play?

Mario205, don't ask how to steal games from Nintendo on a fan site.  That's like going to a coin collecting forum and asking where you can steal some gold coins.

You may not get banned for a single post like this, but if you make more similiar posts you won't be around for long.

What first stood out to me is how incredibly random that post was—like walking up to a fruit stand and asking the attendee what tips he has for painting the inside of a garage door.

At some point in the past I joined Suffix with my submission being added added to the site. Anyone else?

That's great news, Watoad! I didn't realize my lovely hand made it into Round 2. If I win any of the prizes, I'm going to give the NDS to my brother (actually, I'll probably give him the one I have now)(actually, I probably won't win at all).

Anyway, congratulations, again. What part of the gallery is Maestro on? Also, I didn't remember making such a great name for it...

I noticed that one of the latest pictures, entitled, "Can't Touch This," features a guy that looks a lot like a guy I know as Michael. And he DOES have a Husky shirt... Now that I think about it, I hope that isn't him. Husky. Hmph.
