The fact that you had to mention her at all just seems...like you need to "show it off" and have people acknowledge it--basically, like you're trying to "impress" people. I find show-offs in general to be quite...the opposite: very unimpressive.
The "shallowness" was mostly directed toward Todd's comment.

Actually, school and other things have kept me away from my DS lately (though it's actually with me in Seattle now). When I saw Fifth's high scores, I quailed and didn't see much point in posting my much lower ones. Do you think I still should? (Note: I have only two gold crowns so far, if that means anything.)
