Would you perfer Old Mario games? (SMB) Or New Mario games? (PM:TTYD). Or both? (NewSMB)
I like Strawberry Milk.

I'm not sure what you mean by "would." You mean if I could only choose one?
I prefer both.

Well I havent played too many of the newere games. I own a GBA so shud really give them a chance. I love the NES & SNES games to bits, and thats after 15 years of playing them. Although Mario Kart Double Dash is one of my fave of all time now.

I prefer the Preschool games.

I'd prefer the old-school SMB games. they have a lot you can do.
-
old school all the way, nintendo's terrible at coming up with new ideas now.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think Nintendo needs to make a new platformer similar to the old SNES and NES ones. Not a remake.
Yes, I prefer the older (NES and SNES) Mario games. Vastly.

I like both the classics and the new games.
Mario Party, though. That needs to stop.

I agree with Insane Steve. New Super Mario Bros. DS will be great for a portable 2D Mario platformer, but I'd like to have a new 2D platformer that I could play on big screen TV even if it would be through a Gameboy Player. While Mario vs. Donkey Kong was a great game it didn't have the wide open levels of SMB3/SMW.

Old school. I liked PM:TTYD, and I think it's probably the funniest game I've played, but then, new school is like a billion different genres, and I haven't really played many.
I am anticipating the NSMB, even though I do not yet have a DS.

I like the old Mario games because of their rtro-style charm. Apparently I'd turned to the dark side, though, as I sold my NES, SNES and all the games I own for them both (they were all Mario games, except for a few Zelda, Metroid and Kirby games) to buy a PS2 back when it came out for $300.
