Wow, Nintendo doesn't usually put this kinda humor in there games, like, when Bowser talks to the poster and when Bowser sees to Hammerbros talking how Bowser has glooming over a pic of Peach...
Learning black slang:
1. I admire those fancy shoes you are wearing.
TRANSLATION: Drop them Nikes' or yo feet before I blast 'em!
2. Hello good sir. May i borrow some money?
TRANSLATION: Yo dog can you drop me off a few Washington bling bling?
3. Oh you don't have it? Thats okay. I'll look elsewhere.
TRANSLATION:*BEEP* you!!

Mario RPGs tend to have quite a bit of humor in them. The dialogue is always fun to read.
-
That seems right to me I have Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and that had some good humor, so did the Kingdom Hearts games ..... but I don't want to get too off topic, because this is about Paper Mario: TTYD.

Well PMTTYD "cracks" me up like an egg! I have laughed at more stuff from that game than a lot of other Mario games I played. My favorite moment was the end of the Boggley Tree level before you fight the boss. I'm just like "shut up, we're all going to die!!" Sometimes the dialogue goes a little longer than necessary but as long as it's funny I don't mind too much. "I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you..." "And you in front of the screen, you listen up too!"
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
-
Questionable dialogue makes me chuckle, too.
-
Squirm and suffer like socially awkward worms!
I liked the scene where Bowser talks to the penguin detective, and he freaks out when he hears that LUIGI beat him there!
-
PM:TTYD is funny, but it is pretty short.
Naruto, Code:Lyoko, Zatch Bell, Bomberman, and Mario Pwns.
-
I'm fairly sure it was just as long as the first game was (8 Chapters).
-
"Lord Bowser, one more thing, do you like egg salad?" HAha. That is great (I think my favorite is the socially awkward worms one, though). Yeah, PM2 had funny dialouge, yet at the same time it seemed more serious than PM1, with the whole *SPOILER-WARNING*peach getting "taken over" by the shadow queen*SPOILER-OVER*, it just had a darker feel to the game, but with humor at the same time. Coolness.
-
Sorry for spoiling your comment, but it's "fried eggs." Well anyway
The good thing about the Yoshi is it hatches in (how many? 7 at least, that I can name) different colors. The bad thing is you have to name it. I'm the least creative person when it comes to naming things. I named my newest yoshi Pnt Bttr (abbreviated peanut butter). But that's for another topic.
The cool thing about these RPGs is that they're tough until you beat it. Then you start a new file and it takes about 5 minutes to complete.
It''s in a better place, Strong Bad. Or rather, it''s in the same place but now it''s got a big hole through it.

I want more Mario RPGs! They are usually too easy for me.
Naruto, Code:Lyoko, Zatch Bell, Bomberman, and Mario Pwns.
-
Heh, I agree. MORE MARIO RPGs!
One line signatures, please.
-
I wish Square could make more Mario RPGs.
Naruto, Code:Lyoko, Zatch Bell, Bomberman, and Mario Pwns.
-
I wish upon the Star Road for SMRPG2.

Square is too busy making more Final Fantasies.
Naruto, Code:Lyoko, Zatch Bell, Bomberman, and Mario Pwns.
-
And you're too busy making nonsense posts. :P Anyway, I didn't think it was that easy. I thought it was a very enlightening challenge.

It was challenging especially some of the puzzles, but I also like how each character has a unique personality.
Naruto, Code:Lyoko, Zatch Bell, Bomberman, and Mario Pwns.

RPGs are hard the first time but easy the second time (because you can go on the internet and look for cheats!)

For me, the RPG genre was hard the first time (when I first played Super Mario RPG), since I played it like action games and tried to avoid enemies at all costs. Now I know that the way to succeed in RPGs is to fight everything that moves to rack up experience points. So now I find most RPGs easy, including PM:TTYD.
-
Exactly. Like me.
Mario, Mario, He''s our man, If he can''t triple-jump and ground pound no one can!
-
Except the first post would be *bleep* not *beep.*
-
Is there a difference?
Mario and Luigi They’re our men, if they can’t triple-jump and ground-pound no one can!
-
I used to be like Hirocon too. Enemies irritated me like crazy in SMRPG and I did everything to avoid fighting them. A funny thing is, when I was younger I thought you had to push all four buttons at once in order to do a special attack so I had a lot of trouble doing them. Then when I got older I realised that the letters cooresponded to the buttons and everything became quite clear (and I felt super retarded). Another weird thing is that I didn't purchase armor for a long time, just tons of Pick Me Ups, and I had to play forever until I could beat Mack the Knife. Yeah, those were the days.
Another one of my favorite quotes is from Lord Crump when he fights you in his Kleenex Box 2 or whatever and calls me a junior varsity loser. Buh huh! Buh huh huh!

Paper Mario 2 is so cool. Someday I'm going to play it.
I''''ve noticed something amongst some people''''s signatures- they''''re not always perfektt.
-
I rented SMRPG a loooong time ago and couldn't figure it out. I only didn't try again because my dad told me RPG stood for "Restricted Parental Guidance."
Me: Hooray, it''s raining money and double apostrophes!!!
Mom: Wake up or you''ll miss the bus.

Square RPGs are usually difficult.
Mario and Luigi They’re our men, if they can’t triple-jump and ground-pound no one can!
-
Why would your Dad say something like that Bird Person?

Aarom, statements like that make me wonder just what Square RPGs you have played.
-
Well I played FFX and I'm trying to complete it 100% so I guess I wasn't thinking when I was typing.
EDIT-SMRPG is a little hard though.

I think my dad said that because he didn't know what he was talking about. I couldn't figure it out because there was no instruction manual, but I bought it on ebay a couple of years ago with experience from PM & M&L.
I beat FF2 on my GBA and accidentally erased my Soul of Rebirth data. I never finished FF1 though. I mean, I got up to Chaos, but I couldn't beat him.
Me: Hooray, it''s raining money and double apostrophes!!!
Mom: Wake up or you''ll miss the bus.

Oh, and while we are talking about FF, once when I was little(4), I erased my big brother's FF3 file because they looked like Barbie dolls, I said. Then I received a beating thats haunts me to this day... *shivers*
