Yeah, a bit too much punctuation, though... and you might want to say "Worst" seeing as it is actually a word.
The worst Mario game ever would have to be Mario's Time Machine. It was like Mario is Missing but without the quirk of playing as Luigi... Read: lame.

I don't have a worst...however I am ****ed off! I HATE NEW POKEMON! Pokemon Puzzle League copied off of Tetris Attack which was originally a Mario game. Oh for shame! Pokemon sux bad! Well, I didn't mind the old stuff, but they just crossed the line copying a Mario game!

Please don't get so hyper-active about bashing PKMN... I dunno about here, but from where I come from, that could start trouble...

The worst Mario game is Super Mario Bros. 2 because it isn't a "mario game" to begin with. (It's okay, but I'm being technical here.)

And Tetris Attack wasn't originally a Mario game either. It was some weird Japanesey girl thing where the... ahh hell, Deezer has an ENTIRE section devoted to it on his site.
So you can't bash that copycat, Pokémon Puzzle League (a fine game) without also bashing that copycat, Tetris Attack (also a fine game).

Does the Mushroom Kingdom even have a hell? He was probably just created from the flame. I have a pretty funny picture of what Fryguy looks like without the fire surrounding him, so to speak... and you're quite right, he just wouldn't look right without a little pair of horns.

You Thus Zaratustra Dude can't say that Super Mario Bros. 2 is the worsesesest (how many eses did you say this word had?) Mario game ever and go on like that! I mean, SMB2 was not a Mario game, yeah, but its characters have now become an essential part of the Mario universe. What would be Yoshi's Island without its freakin' cool Shy-guys on sticks, for example? Or without those big fat Ravens? And, also, it is the only Mario classic game where you can play as Princess Peach or Toad. Isn't that enough to make SMB2 a great game? So think about other games like Mario's Time Machine before stating something like what you stated, please.

edutainment games are the worst(est)but out of the "real" mario games, my least favorite is doctor mario. put down that chainsaw! Ahh! Stop! nooo!

Sadly, I haven't played Mario is Missing... But I have played Mario's Time Machine, I rented it once from Blockbuster Video... IT SUCKS! I never played Tetris Attack, but I've heard it's a cheap rip-off of Tetris games only with Mario characters!
Super Mario Bros. 2 is a great game! Without it, we wouldn't have Shy Guys or Mouser or Bob-Ombs! Shy Guys are the coolest Mario enemies (aside from Piranha Plants, Goombas, and Koopa Troopas!) I have the Game Boy Advance version of SMB2 (called Super Mario Advance). It's cool, but I hate those DAAMN voices the characters have!

I didn't much like SMB2. Those lucky Japanese get a real Mario game, and us Americans get this piece of junk called "Doki Doki Panic"! Actually it would be a decent game as DDP but IT'S NOT A MARIO GAME! You can't make it one!

Tetris attack is not a rip off of a tetris game. it's a hack of a japanese game called(I think) Paneru de pon. they just put yoshi characters to appeal to his popularity(and to let male gamers with any pride whatsoever play it). the same thing happened with pokemon puzzle league/challenge/whatever. They just kinda changed the characters around.

Ok, who's the wise guy who says SMB2 is the worst. Surely you don't take Mario 2 below Mario is Missing, unless you haven't played it(you don't want to, it's horrible). It may not have been an original Mario game, but it's the only game where you can both play as Toad and Peach and also pick up things and throw them. Without it, Luigi would still be a green copy of Mario, and where would Yoshi's Island, SMRPG, and Paper Mario be without those enemies?

Mario is Missing is the only game I have ever returned due to "badness". I beat it in 2 days when i was about 7 (when did that game come out?)
SMB2 is ok, but Tetris Attack RULES!!!!!
Yes, it was taken from a Japanese game called Paneru de Pon, and I wouldn't be caught dead playing it, as I am not really into "girly games". This is the only game i would avoid up to today due to graphics alone. Sticking the Yoshi's Island characters into the addicting puzzle game was a great decision on Nintendo's part.... And adding Pokemon got the younger people playing it, but i don't see why the Yoshi's Island characters won't do the job as well...
Anyway, take it from someone who can beat Very hard mode without losing even once 70-80% of the time, even after not having played it for about a year (it isn't as hard as you think, Bowser on Very Hard normally throws a x9 or so chain at you, but he leaves one column perilously stacked really high, so even a x4 or x5 chain stacks him to the top, and if you play with the BALL code activated, you easily win in roughly 10-20 seconds. If you let the match drag on for more than 1 minute though, you are generally sunk.): it is a great game! get it. Trust me, the ending is nothing special, but beat hard or very hard without losing and using the same non-Yoshi character for all 4 fights in the Cave of Wickedness and the ending will change slightly... I use Gargantua Blargg for some reason... the ARRRRGH noise he makes is really cool, in my opinion.
SUMMARY OF THIS UNECCESARILY LONG POST: Mario Is Missing is the "worsest" (sorry) Mario game, and any of you who hate on Tetris Attack are hating on my favorite game of all time. yes, it is my favorite game of all time. You may not think so, but I do.
