Oh, yes!!! I've been wanting a topic like this to come up! Some great acronames have been created in TMK chats, and I'll now bring forth all of them that I can dig out of the archives—including ones that may have been posted in this topic already. These acronames are one of the great products of #tmk, so they should be presented in their most complete form (except for the bombs, which I will leave out). It all started when MegaByte told some dude called "nintendo_pride" to "read the darn article," and Deezer replied by saying, "rtda" . . .

[The letters in bold are the acronyms (or acronames), and the names in parentheses are the creative minds behind their meanings.]

RTDA

FPS

Watoad

Deezer

MegaByte

Chupperson

Sapphira

David

Lizard_Dude

Darn, Lizard Dude, why'd you have to go and make me happy?

For those who know PEMDAS (The math thing that is usually "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally"), I made some messed up versions:

Please Eat My Disgustingly Atrocious Salad.

Painting Eskimos May Disturb Animal Species

Plenty Egypytian or Malaysian Dromedarys Ate Something

Also, SAPPHIRA:

Sorry, All People Please Hold In Regurgitatable Air

As long as it works, and it makes sense, you can use it.
If it doesn't make sense, then at least make it work.

Nonsensical mod(past and present) acronyms anyone?

Chupperson - Chewing hippos uncomfortably probably produces errors regularly somewhere on Neptune.

Lizard Dude - London's insect zoo adores real dangerous deer unifying doddering elephants.

Fifth - Few invertebrates finish the hike.

Sapphira - So admiring people producing helium is really abominable?

Deezer - Did echidnas evolve zapping eyeballs readily?

Dr. Mario - Did Ridilin make a reject invincible Oliver?

Mario Nut#1 - Mostly air really is oregano, not unrefined toxins.

NEWS: North East West South

However, the correct order is North, East, South, and West (when starting at North and moving clockwise). For some reason this is always hard for me to remember, so I use the following saying to remind myself of the order: "Never eat sticky waffles." I use this saying just about every time I have to think of something in terms of the four directions.

“Hey, Strong Bad. You jumped over some u’ my busses.”

Okay, PEMDAS: Parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction. This is a more logical order to me than BEDMAS, although bed mass is easier to remember.

I learned the PEMDAS a much different way in Middle School. It was a whole sentence:

Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally.

Parentheses, Exponents, Multipulcation, Divison, Addition, and Subtraction.

Si las paredes podrían hablar, podría perforar los agujeros en ellas así que cerrarían el infierno para arriba.

I never really understood the need for that one anyway; the process is pretty logical.
You always execute a product before a sum,
An exponent modifies the number it's on directly, so should be done immediately,
and equations within pirentheses must logically be executed before you can use its value/whatever.

Of course, I'm sure I made a mess in explaining it, but I still don't see the need for an acronym...
