The technology is just too advanced to make those things again...
I doubt anyone would still buy them...

You had to buy whole new systems if you wanted to play different games...

Anyways, why need the Game & Watch themselves when you can still play the games on the GameBoy systems with the Game & Watch Gallery series?...

They rereleased many of the games in Game & Watch Gallery.

They rereleased many of the games as mini Game & Watch devices.

They released game watches.

Nintendo DS.
