Title: the Legend of Zelda

Hello all,

I am currently stuck in the fifth dungeon of Zelda 1, and I am trying to get the Recorder so I can take out the boss of the level. However, you must venture through two rooms filled with at least five or six blue knights (eh, I can't remember their name. They have a sword and shield, and can only be hurt if attacked from behind)that I can't get past. Are there any tips to help me conquer this level?

You mean the part that has the blue paths?

It's hard stuff. Be very careful, and remember you can hit them from the side as well as from behind (didn't know if you knew). If you absolutely can't do it, come back later with more hearts and possibly a better sword. The recorder is not immediately useful.

It does, however, make it easier to get to the different dungeons.

Or if you have full hearts, you can use your magic sword and shoot them when they're not looking at you.
