Sorry, I don't have a photo now and I'm not wasting a whole DVD for a one. BTW if the majority of Fungi say yes, then I'll get a hair cut Saturday. If not, I'll let my hair grow out. Poll ends in four days. If the numbers are even or nearly even I'll just get a 'trim'.
Stay tuned for more "WSLD" polls.

I say: fight the scissors!
-
I've said it before, and I'll say it again:
Short hair > long hair (on guys)
(Not in actual hair length)
And yes, I know, "That's just your opinion!" [/mocking voice]
-
Heck no. Long hair rocks. If long enough, you could turn them into weapons for defense.
-
Hehe. I think you should keep your hair, but at a managable length. That is, assuming it's not ten feet long. then you should maybe trim it just a little.
-
Uh, I guess it your choice. I like hair short on short on some guys but long on other guys. But short looks the best!
-
Scissors are teh evil.
-
Let it grow out. Long hair is what real men have.
-
Sapph, you can't make such random generalizations. Some people, male and female, look good with longer hair, and some look good with shorter hair.
-
Most guys at my school are growing their hair long that it covers their eyes. It's like the new fad I guess.
-
A few days ago:
[01:22:42] Sapphira: I mean, some people look okay with it longer, but when I see it at a shorter length (either from past pictures or if they get a haircut), I always think it looks better
Chup, what YOU said is an opinion, as well. You have no right telling me my opinions are wrong. Besides, I never said guys look BAD with longer hair; I just said I think they look BETTER with shorter hair. My goodness. Everyone I've seen looks better with shorter hair than longer hair. Different styles, on the other hand, vary from person to person on what looks better (IMO).
Several months ago:
[15:06:56] Sapphira: what is this? like every guy I know is growing out their hair
[15:07:04] Sapphira: it's becoming cliche
-
I personally prefer short.
-
Grow it out. Keeps your ears warm. :)
-
This is what you should look like. *whistles*
(This is my friend)
Long hair rules!
-
You know where my loyalties lie (or used to).
-
It depends on the person for me.
When I was younger, I used to have a crew cut every Summer (my mother forced me to). This happened from around when I was 5 until around the age of 11.
It didn't look very cute anymore once I gained weight. (I started gaining around the age of 10.) So, picture a fat, bald kid with a space between his two front teeth who wore nothing but T-shirts, shorts, and flip-flops.
...Looking at old family movie clips, I bury myself into my arms, wondering why.
Once I convinced my mother to give control of my scalp to me, I just had it at a short length for awhile, cutting it once it grew a bit longer than normal. They drew the line at long hair, though, I didn't much care.
Skip to about age 14 or 15. You guys knew of my existence at this age. It was around this time where I argued with my parents for long hair.
Mom: "Boys aren't supposed to have long hair!"
Dad: "...You won't look very professional."
I constantly argued it, pointing out the fact that my father had long hair when he was my age. So, I just stopped getting my hair cut for awhile. They finally got the idea that I wanted to do what I wanted to make me happy, not because I wanted to be a part of what's in or not.
My father says it's fine for me, now, but my mother still hates it, and personifies my hair whenever I walk across my room.
"Ugh, it's like a shaggy animal on your head. Cut it."
It's at the point where if it's wet, it passes my shoulders. I want it long enough to reach my elbows, then I'll get it trimmed a bit.
So, IMO: Fat guys with very short or no hair = ....ehhhh, you need to have the right face for it.
Thin guys with short or no hair = fine
Girls with long hair = good
Girls with short hair = good
Girls with hair long enough to sit on = crazy.
-
Agreed. Totally.
-
who wore nothing but T-shirts, shorts, and flip-flops.
Dude that sounds just like me. Well that part anyway, except the flip-flops. (Against school dresscode.)
-
Short girl hair doesn't usually do it for me, it looks alright for some girls, but usually it turns me off.
-
Well, funny thing. I just shaved my head today.
-

I also think that long hair looks better on most girls. No offense.
-
My hair is a fairly long "shag". My mother says that as long as my grades are up, my hair can stay. Yeah, I'd agree that females look more attractive with longer hair. But, this is all just me.
-
What matters to me if they're 100% girl first of all. Don't know with some of those freaks out there. I don't care if they have long or short hair. Sometimes it matters, but most of the time I don't care. It helps if they're pretty too. I mean if they're ugly, the hair isn't the turn-off anymore.
-

:D PIX?
-
Grades determines hair length? wtd
-
I had a crewcut once. Did it myself. It was easy and cheap. Looked bad though.
My wife likes my hair long. I'm not sure how long though. At least as long as when we met. If you've seen my high school graduation pic, that about the length it was.
-

Agreed.

My mom hates girls hair short, like near to the head. She says it's unfiminine and guess what? I totally agree, but some hair, like short hair on some women, not younger girls, looks all right.
-
Longer hair > short hair (on girls)
...But not too, too long or scraggly looking. For girls, I classify "short" as above chin-length.
For actually on me, though, above shoulder-length is too short.
Turning my quote around:
I mean, some people (girls) look okay with it shorter, but when I see it at a longer length (either from past pictures) or it's longer and they get it cut short, I always think it looks better longer.
Yes, I'm a traditional "guys with short hair, girls with long hair" person.
As with guys, on girls different styles, though, vary from person to person on what looks better (IMO). Style (for both genders) includes specific length, not vague, general length (like "short" or "long").
My hair length has ranged from shoulder-length to my mid-back (not including when I was a baby). Typically, though, it ranges from ~1-4 inches below my shoulders. Once it gets to a certain length, it annoys me; that's usually when I decide to get a haircut. It's gotten pretty long now; I'd guess 4 1/2 inches below the shoulders? It's hard to "measure" because my hair is layered.

There's this woman I see visit the library every once in a while whose hair is in dreadlocks that go past her knees.
-
That doesn't seem like a good haircut for a girl. Especially if she's old, is she? I think it's weird how it grows that long. There's a girl in my class that used to have hair down to her knees, but she decided to cut it like 2 years ago. I think it looks a lot better. HEY WAIT A MINUTE!!! I just remembered my mom has short hair, and she likes it better like that. So once again I have no problem if it's short or long.

I know a lady like that, but she wears her long dreads in a sorta veil-like thing on her head.
-
You have to worry about things when your hair's that long. It's like "Holy crap! I'm in a sinking ship but the anchor's on my hair, and I used that shampoo that makes it too firm to tear! I'm dying!!"

XD! That's funny, Bird Person. But wait a second, what if that really happened?
-
Exactly my point! Don't let your hair touch the ground!
-
I don't know of anybody that was that long of hair. That would be pretty funny to see though, the ship part. Everybody's shouting "You have to cut your hair!!!" and she says "It took me every day of my life to grow it this long, no way!!!!". And then she dies.
-
I still don't see how/why girls = long hair and guys = short hair is "traditional." Just because it's been that way in some time periods/parts of the world, why does that make it the right way? One girl I know looks really really good with 1-2 inch hair.
-
I agree with Chup. One day I went to my US History class, and one guy asked me why I wanted to be a girl, because only girls have long hair.
Of course I jokingly replied that the 1890s were going to make a comeback (explaining that around that time it was normal for either gender to have long hair in other countries, especially Russia), but I was still annoyed at his ignorance to guys with long hair.

Girls with no hair=Run away screaming
-
So you don't like people with cancer?
*Shakes finger at MSM*
Shame on you!!
-
let me rephrase that...(Sorry dude! I mean...yeah)
Girls with no hair that do NOT have cancer that are complete psychos that use thier own hair in disgusting rituals to make bread=Run away screaming
-
Someone at my school shaved her head for St. Baldrick's. She doesn't have cancer. No one ran away screaming.
-
St. Baldrick's? never heard of it. (or is it a joke?)
-
St. Baldrick's is, as a matter of fact, a fundraiser of sorts for people who have cancer. People shave their head, donate the hair, etc.
-
One girl used to have her hair in a giantic bun about the size of her head, resembling a tumor. It was supported by a hairnet until a passing student walked by and accidently pulled it off.
-
OW *cringes* I guess she didn't use that conditioner in that one commercial, where she pulls a metal bar off with her hair.
-
That commercial's ridiculous. Doesn't anyone notice that her hair gets about 5 feet longer when it's tied to the bar?
-
Pulled all the hair off? Or just the net? Also, tumor?
-
He pulled the hairnet off. The hair itself reminded me of the "Face-Eating Tumors" I saw on TLC.
-
Whatever happened with this?
-
That's what I wanted to know. Seeing it ended in a tie, I'm gonna guess he got a trim.
-
Sapphira wins. Yes, I got a trim. I even got another trim today since I have to present at senior scholarships night tomorrow. Before both trims a fellow science teacher strongly suggested I get a hair cut. This summer/fall I may let it grow out.
P.S. I'm not online much lately due to the end of the school year and prep for the baby.
