Title: Whatever Happened to Luigi?

Yeah, he appears in "Paper Mario" but not as a playable character.

He didn't appear in "Super Mario 64" and only at the end of "Suer Mario World 2".

He's gone from a hero to someone in distress or lounging about. Why the stepback from the spotlight?

I sure hope he has an active role in the next Mario game.

Hmm. That's interesting. I'm trying to think of his last playable role...maybe Super Smash Brothers. Not sure.
Of course, he has stepped back from the spotlight. Maybe when Mario for GameCube comes out, we'll see more Luigi...

The last time we had the Mario bros. as our two playable characters was in "Super mario World."  That's the way things ought to be!
