Title: Shadow the Hedgehog-Black Comet help

Well, I'm nearly done with the Black Comet, and I'm on Sonic's side this time, but I have no idea how toget at the emerald. I see it, but some sheild thing is keeping me away. This is my last life too, and this took forever to get though. Could someone please help me out?

There are 3 (I think) switches throughout the level where you see the hologram of black doom, make sure the switches are set so that the blue forcefield is active instead of the red one (simply jumpkick the switch to change it).  Most of the switches are near savepoints, so simply transport yourself back.  I believe the first switch is at the 4th savepoint, so start from there. Thanks, but since I had to go to my aunt's house for a day, I just had to finish it on the evil mission, which, unfortunetly, made me fight Sonic and Diablon, which wasn't my intention...What Shadow said in the end wasn't really worth it, either...
