Title: Who owns what?

Does Nintendo own all the characters in:

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Paper Mario
Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door

If I'm thinking correctly, as it is 1:10 AM, I think that Nintendo does own of all of the characters.

EDIT: I know Nintendo owns all of the characters in the Paper Mario games. I don't know about the others (as I have never played them).

Wrong! Geno appears in Superstar Saga, and it says at the end of the credits that Geno is property of Square Co.

Besides Ceno, does Nintendo own the rest of the characters? I want to make a dream Mario Superstar Baseball roster with Nintendo Mario characters.

All of the characters from the Paper Mario series belong to Nintendo.

I don't know about the charcters from M&L:SSS and M&L:PIT.Most likely yes.

Woah, Geno is in M&L:SS?  That's what I get for not finishing the game... I wonder where I'll find him... Actually, I wonder if I'll ever even pick that game up again.

Geno's in a minigame. I can't remember its name, however. It's been a while since I played M&L:SS, although I tried to get my sister into playing it.

Sir, I know that Geno is in Superstar Saga, and I know* that at the end it says "All Characters, Music, and Scenario are a trademark of Nintendo, Inc. Geno is a trademark of Square Co."

*It does say something to this manner. Geno is not owned by Nintendo, get it?!

Ah, thanks Suffix & Max!  I actually have seen Geno and now feel bad for not speaking up on my hunch.
