Heh heh. I actually though about editing my post and change woulld back to would, for this very reason. But I didn't ;) you got me.

Actually, I do it for many reasons. Some being those "ph33r l337 $p3@k" people you know. And then there are the "im inn frst gradd an i cannt speel mi oon nam" people.
Not to mention the "i dun spell mch cause i r to l8ze to typ ful word" crowd. Ugh, so many of them.

But, it wasn't anything personal, from what you posted I couldn't tell if you just messed up or what not, so meh.

I am also glad someone caught the irony of complaining about the topic in the complaining topic. Heh, I figured it'd be over too many heads here. I've been shot down again, my my, this is a surprising day.

I mean, I don't find her real attractive. She's okay, but I wouldn't call her hot....

I finally get to "Comeplane"? Really? I woulld love to, just, you need to tell me how. OH! You meant complain. Ah, I understand. Well, I'll tell you, I sure was "board" yesterday. You know, come to think of it, I think I was more bored than "board", but I digress.

Don't take that the wrong way pal, I'm only pointing it out for your own reference. You wouldn't want to go around spelling like that forever, now would you? :)

Anyway, my day was alright. I woke up early to get to work. Worked hard, got home. Did some yard work. Then I went to my soccer league and played a game. Nothing real special, nor much to complain about.

Now, Dead or Alive 2 is a mighty fine game, but to be honest, it has nothing on DoA2 Xtreme Volleyball. Erm... I mean, both games look wonderful. I knew that post looked familiar. Lets take this link for example http://formen.ign.com/news/16883.html
...... Er.. someone gave it to me, honest. ;D

Anyway, I don't feel it's wrong to be attracted to Animated girls, or girls from video games, with-in reason. Hell, pretty much every anime girl can push the right buttons if you know what I mean. To put it simply, I am a man, therefore I....er...like women?

Video Game Chat / Re: gamecube, xbox, or ps2????
« on: June 27, 2002, 12:17:57 PM »
Well, it all depends on your favorite genre of games. However, I'll see what little insight I can give you.

My personal rankings are like this:

1) Gamecube
2) Playstation 2
3) X-Box

Now, hear me out. If you are only interested in the short-term gaming, as in a month or two and don't want to wait for good games, than the Gamecube is definitely not for you. Most of the Cube's star games are coming out towards the end of summer and the Fall. So, if you aren't one who likes to wait, than I would go with the PS2.

Now, the PS2 has the largest selection of games, not to say they are all good, but the largest none the less. Personally, my favorite type of game is the RPG. However, my personal opinion is that most recent RPGs have been lacking when compared to the genius of the past. That is why the Cube beats out the PS2 for me. But, if you like a lot of 3rd-party games, then the PS2 might be for you.

Now, contrary to what many say, and probably will say, the X-box isn't all that bad. Personally, Halo isn't my cup of tea, but I know many people who like it a lot. Plus, the X-Box is the most technilogically advanced system when you look at the specs. Not to mention it has the capital to back it up. It does have some interesting games, and some 3rd party support.

So, I would go with a Cube, mainly for games like Resident Evil, The upcoming Mario, Zelda, and Metroid titles, and Capcom VS SNK 2 EO (Beach Spikers LOOKS good too, if you catch my drift). If you want a large selection now, than I'd say the PS2 would be your best bet. But, if you see plenty of games you like on the X-box, you choice may lay there. I hope this has helped you out.

Heh...  I figured the name change was intentional. I mean, who really cares if it has the same name? Grow up.

Anyway, if it isn't chosen yet, and by the looks of it, it isn't, I'll pick Link's group. That is, if it's alright.

Mario Chat / Re: Super Mario RPG Advance possible?
« on: June 24, 2002, 10:27:17 PM »
I do believe it is possible. However, it's easy to assume such things. The only game that has actually started development, or who's development has been announced is FFT for GBA. So who knows, not to mention the conflicts still between Nintendo and Square.

And when you say Square helped Nintendo make Mario RPG, I believe it should be worded differently. More or less it was Nintendo who helped Square make Mario Rpg.

Not at the Dinner Table / Re: Religion
« on: June 24, 2002, 04:31:07 PM »
Would the mind not evolve with the species? It's tough to say, maybe yes maybe no. But from what I can gather, you are saying that the non-religious people have brought us all of the acheivements and technology we have now? I do not believe that to be true. Many people who have made great advances have been religious. It's not to say that all advancements have been caused by religious people for to say one group or the other did everything is blatently false. So, I don't see where your arguement holds up. Saying that just because one is religious they wont be able to 'invent' or further their mind is foolish.

Well, you're right, we do need to calm down. However, I still disagree with you, but that is to be expected, no?

Granted, the church is against evolution, but that does not mean we would be cavemen. The basis of evolution is that species can gain helpful traits and pass them to their offspring. It is believed that many species could have origionated from a common ancestor. I still have yet to see any real proof that evolution is true. Sure, species can adapt and change, but I don't buy it. But, that would be why it's called the theory of evolution.

Scientists would be spending time praising instead of inventing? I don't see where this is coming from. Many scientists are religious, but that doesn't stop them from working. What you are saying is that people cannot do their jobs while having religion? Or are you saying that people who have religion are not smart enough to be able to do the same thing as agnostic or athiest people? Either way I don't see how it can be true.

Logic is generated from the mind, that is my point. Us humans use logic to explain things around us. Take the pythagrian theorm as an example. The two legs of a triangle squared must equal the hypotenus squared. Why is this true? Logic. Logic is used to explain things, but what if logic is not correct? If logic is dirived from the mind of man, than how can you say it is not flawed? How can we know logic is the truth? My point is, not everything can be explained by logic, and even though somethings can be, we have no way of knowing if it is right.

As for the soul, how can you be sure emotions come from the mind? What I believe is the mind interpurts the emotions for us, but they come from the soul. But, I can't make you believe that nor do I have the intention to do so.

Your edited post does make more sense now, and is somewhat more tactful. I have no problem with you expressing your beliefs, infact I encourage it. This is a debate thread after all.

Facts. What are facts? How do we know them to be a fact indeed? Hmmm? Logic was created by humans. To explain an observation with logic proves nothing. Not everything is at as it seems.

And quite to the contrary, if everyone was smart, there would be religion. However, there wouldn't be wars and murder over it. But that isn't the case, is it? If everyone had religion we'd all be cave men? I don't want to even address this, but I must. Most people do have religion and I live in a house, in my cloths, and right now, I'm on my computer.

"as the church in against religion"
That makes no sense, I'm not going to even dignify that with a response.

And if people don't have souls, than what makes people do good? Why do people do things to help one another. If we dont' have souls, than what makes us different from machines? Without a soul, we're just machines with an outer covering of flesh instead of metal.

I don't mind if you don't believe in God, hell, I don't care if you express your opinion, but when you do it in a derogatory manner, I'm not even going to consider respecting that opinion for a second.

Mario Chat / Re: Lou Albano
« on: June 19, 2002, 08:59:50 PM »
Personally I liked Lou Albano as Mario. I'd say he did a good job. Charles Marinet also does a decent job. Although it is a bit high at times, it sounds pretty good. I would like to see Lou do it though.

I have also heard that in Mario Suneshine Mario's voice is no longer done by Martinet.  I have heard it, and it does sound quite a bit higher, but it could still be Martinet.

I still have my doubts. Granted, in those two frames, it does seem as if he is hitting Yoshi, but I feel there is a frame or two missing in between or after.

Take the earlier screens for an example. Yoshi Smack 1 and 2 are in the exact same position as the second screen provided by Fifth. And from the new screens, we don't see the before motion or the after motion.

Although the new screens look more like a 'smack', I still feel pointing is more or less what Mario is doing.
