The Cheep Cheeps ate the remainder of Toad's exploded body, got sick, and died.

But Toad was already dead from the Chain Chomp, so the Cheeps-cheeps were alive, until a rabid monkey escaped and viciously mauled them.

PaperLuigi dodged and for no reason, ordered his overweight elephant from the 9th world of the Ghost Realm, who had extream power, to fight the monkey in an epic battle to the death; Mario stood at the side and wondered if this story would ever end.
